Creativity Squared: On Dreaming Big and Manifesting

Dear Creativity Squared Member —

Whenever you’re reading this, — it might even be Christmas Eve! — you might be wondering: ‘What is she going to say on Christmas Eve?’ Or ‘Why isn’t she unplugging?”

As soon as I hit publish, I’ll officially be unplugging and won’t re-emerge here again until after the new year, I promise. 😋

Before I fully sign off, I wanted to share a few of my favorite things with you first:

💝 My interview with King Willonius — the show’s 75th episode! 🎉 — which I’ve been editing since we first published it on Thursday. It’s never completely finished, but it’s as ready for you as it’s going to be. It’s some of my best work in a while, and I hope you really enjoy it! 🎁 Grand Rising and Happy Holidays is a new Christmas album from King Willonius — it’s the last thing he’s releasing before taking his well-earned rest for the holidays, too!

🦅 A Holly Dolly Christmas for some extra cheer! Have had this playing in the background a lot lately, and you all know I’m a Dolly fan! 😉 🦋

And for those who don’t know why I love Dolly Parton as much as I do, I highly recommend the podcast series Dolly Parton’s America. I re-listened to it this past weekend and fell in love with the series — and Dolly — all over again!

One of the many, many aspects I love about Dolly Parton is that she’s shown more than one little gal who grew up in East Tennessee, where dreaming big can take you. And what you can manifest — a whole theme park — if you want to!

I was caught on camera recently gushing over Holly and her new project, Public Diffusion, a truly open foundation model:

Not only that, Holly just recently dropped a new book, All Media Is Training Data — my copy I ordered is on the way!

And at least one other East Tennessee gal…being me! 😉

I’ve never been a big fan of goodbyes — they always feel too final. So, this isn’t goodbye; it’s just ‘until next time.’ Some time…after whenever I re-emerge in January. 😋 

Wishing you a joyful Winter Solstice, Age of Aquarius, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, and New Year — to everyone who celebrates, and to those who don’t, enjoy hopefully a quieter inbox or however you’re spending your time, too! And to all the birthday stars out there, I see you, too — happy birthday.

This year has certainly flown by!

His real name is Willonius Hatcher (his first name is pronounced “Will-OWN-ee-us,” and he also goes by Will). 2024 has been a breakout year for Will after his “BBL Drizzy” comedy song went viral — the first song made in collaboration with A.I. that became a cultural phenomenon, transcending genres and mediums!

Creativity Squared interviewed Will live at the FilmGate Miami Interactive Festival XI, one of the top ten immersive festivals in the world! You’ll hear why it’s so special from the festival’s Head Curator, Co-Founder, and Executive Producer, Diliana Alexander. 

On opening night, the FilmGate Miami audience got a preview of the “BBL Drizzy Musical Dome Experience”. Next year, Creativity Squared will be back to see the full production and host another time capsule conversation with Will.
